Reimagining Wood

From waste to shelter

Role: filming, illustration, art direction & editing

Reimagining Wood is a short filmn documentary developed
in a design studio exploring material systems and storytelling.
I investigated construction wood waste and its environmental impact, then proposed a small-scale solution: modular bus shelters built from reclaimed wood. The film documents my process—from research and field interviews to prototyping with salvaged materials—blending design thinking with personal reflection. I focused on clear visual storytelling and emotional pacing to turn a systems problem into a hopeful, community-driven narrative.
